Announcing the bump

Announcing the bump

The hubs was the one to predict it, he is the one who told me to get a test done. We were ready and trying to be pregnant so it was expected and we would be cool, right? Or so we thought. We thought we knew we were ready, but when the test came back positive we were OBVIOUSLY nervous as hell.

Didn’t want to believe it, wanted to be SURE before announcing it to the world. So we waited… We went to the doctor and sure enough, there was a heart beat!

When we traveled to Monterrey we announced it to the family first. We shared the exciting news that the stork was bringing a baby alligator to our family.

My niece F was making a Christmas list and asked Abella what she wanted. She said she wanted grandkids. That afternoon we welcomed her home with a Santa hat on our heads and saying “HO HO HO!” She immediately knew what we were trying to say.

Our grandmothers were the best. One of them said: “GOOD!!! I was going to start recommending some doctors!”.

Back home we told our friends by bringing a gift bag. Inside there was a piece of french bread with a pacifier stuck. Not everyone got it.

NO!
